چکیده

Biostimulants are a novel and eco-friendly agronomic tool with practical applications in alleviating negative effects of environmental stressors. The present work studied the three biostimulant products (Nomoren (N), Twin-Antistress (TW), X-Stress (XS)) under normal irrigation (W+) water deficit conditions (W−) on nutritional, chemical composition bioactive properties common bean fresh pods. A variable effect biostimulants was observed nutritional value parameters, while fructose sucrose were main detected sugars, especially NW+ CW− treatments. Oxalic, malic, citric acid organic acids, γ- total tocopherol content highest TWW+. (+)-Catechin (−)-epicatechin most abundant phenolic compounds, NW− treatment. antioxidant capacity for Thiobarbituric Acid Reactive Substances (TBARS) Oxidative Haemolysis assays (OxHLIA), TWW+ extracts showed best overall results against tested fungi. In conclusion, had positive bioactivities purple depending regime.

Anatomical root variations in response to water deficit: wild and domesticated common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L).

Root anatomical responses to water deficit are diverse and regulation of water uptake strongly depends on plant anatomy. The ancestors of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) cultivars are the wild common beans. Because wild beans adapt and survive well in the natural environment, it is hypothesized that wild common bean roots are less affected than those of domesticated beans at low substrate w...

WATER ABSORPTION IN BEAN SEEDS (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) DURING PROCESSING

The purpose of this paper was to estimate and to evaluate the hydration curves of three kinds of dry bean varieties (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), besides adjusting the Peleg’s model to the experimental values under several soaking temperatures. Bean seeds of pinto, black and red kidney varieties were soaked in distilled water in the temperatures of 20, 30, 40 and 50 °C. The constant C1 (Peleg rate c...

Biochemical characteristics of red bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) genotypes as affected by seed pre-treatment with growth regulators .

In order to investigate the effect of seed pretreatment with growth regulators on biochemical characteristics of red bean genotypes, a factorial experiment was carried out in a randomized complete block design with three replications. In this research, seed pretreatment with growth regulators namely salicylic acid (SA) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) were applied at four levels including P0: ...

Micronutrient uptake in common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) as affected by Rhizobium inoculation, and the supply of molybdenum and lime

Pot and field experiments were done to establish the effect of Rhizobium inoculation, Molybdenum and lime supply on the availability of micronutrients (Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe, B and Mo) in Phaseolus vulgaris L. In both field and pot experiments, Rhizobium inoculation significantly improved uptake of Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, B and Mo in all organs (roots, shoots, pods and whole plants) except the Mo uptake in ro...
